Generative AI questions, answered.

What is retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)?

RAG connects a large language model to your own documents and data. The model answers from your content instead of guessing. STEM Global uses it to build assistants that are accurate, current and respect your existing permissions.

What's the difference between an AI assistant and an AI agent?

An assistant answers questions; an agent also takes actions, completing multi-step tasks across your systems such as raising tickets, updating records or drafting documents. We build both, with a human approval step where it matters.

How do you keep generative AI safe and affordable?

We design in guardrails, access controls, logging and answer-quality checks, watch usage and costs, and pick the model that fits the task. Often that isn't the largest one.
